Our story

From our trees to your table

Villa Branzino sits in the green hills of Umbria, where the countryside turns quiet in autumn. Around the house stand 81 olive trees, and every olive in this bottle came off them by hand.

This year Carly, Austin and Lucio worked the harvest side by side with Fulvio. We spent long days in the sun on steep hillsides, filling nets one tree at a time. Lucio kept us laughing the whole way, as he always does. It took blood, sweat and a few tears. Still, there is nothing more rewarding than fresh, healthy oil made on our own land from start to finish, and we would love to share some with you.

On October 15 we drove the crates to the mill and watched our oil pour out young, green and peppery, the way new Umbrian oil should be.

There is only a little of it, so every box carries its own number.

How do I pay?

Send your preorder with the form, then pay the total by Venmo to @carly-cucco with your name in the note. Your preorder is confirmed, and your box numbered, once payment arrives.

When will it arrive?

Bottles ship this winter. We'll email you when yours is on its way.

Can I give it as a gift?

Of course. Choose the gift option, add the recipient's name and a message, and enter their address as the shipping address. We write the card by hand.

Who am I buying from?

Your order is with pinkhippo77 LLC, paid to its Venmo business profile. Your confirmation email serves as your receipt.

What if I change my mind?

Cancel any time before your bottle ships for a full refund to your Venmo account.

How should I store the oil?

Somewhere cool and dark, away from the stove and sunlight. Close the cap after each use. New oil is at its brightest in the first months and stays lovely for 12 to 18 months from harvest. Once opened, enjoy it within two to three months.

Why does it taste peppery?

That catch at the back of the throat is the mark of fresh, early oil rich in polyphenols. It softens gently over the winter.

What if it arrives damaged?

Send us a photo within 7 days and we'll replace it.
